These Limited Edition prints depict moments in car culture and history. Mrs. Walter P. Chrysler's 1937 Imperial town car is shown in a fantasy scene outside the Chrysler Building in New York. The 1938 Phantom Corsair is also depicted in a fantasy scene at the 1939 New York World's Fair in Flushing Meadow (the car was in fact exhibited at the Fair). "Pontiac Showdown" captures drag racing at the Norwalk, Ohio track after a rain delay. The ALCO Black Beast No. 8, driven by Harry Grant, is seen rounding the Hicksville Turn on its way to victory in the 1909 Vanderbilt Cup race. The Austin-Healey 100S shown here is the car restaurateur Vince Sardi raced in the 1950s, complete with Walt Hansgen's custom cooling intake below the grille. (See Austin-Healey Gallery for stock 100S, Limited Edition of 100.)
