Another classic seen at Lime Rock Park during a vintage racing session. One of the challenges in painting this car was to distinguish between the fabric-covered body of the car and the metal bonnet and fenders. As I watched this rather large car circle the track, the driver--who was wearing a leather helmet and goggles--spun the great beast onto the grass. He must have had a rather anxious moment, not so much for the value of the car, but for his exposure, with no roll bar, atop the tall vehicle. It remained upright.
